New MD for LeasePlan International

Effective 17 January 2011 Jose Luis Criado-Pérez was appointed Managing Director of LeasePlan International .

Jose joins LeasePlan International from C.A.R, s.l. where he held the position of Chairman. C.A.R. is a consulting firm specialised in vehicle related financial services and fleet management with a portfolio of clients including major European and South American car leasing groups, banks, insurance companies and car manufacturing companies.

Before establishing C.A.R. Jose worked with LeasePlan for 16 years. From 1988 until 2000 he was Managing Director of LeasePlan Spain and from 2000 until 2004 Jose was Regional Senior Vice-President for Southern Europe and South America. In 1995 Jose co-founded the Asociación Española de Renting (the Spanish Car Leasing Association) where he held the position of president for six years.

During his career spanning over 30 years, Jose gained extensive and invaluable knowledge of the fleet management business and automotive industry and we are very pleased to have him on board.
